Kobe CX183-8 (models CX1830GS CX1836GS CX1842GS) stand alone, 30, 36 and 42 inch wide, wall mount, 1/4+ inch thick tempered glass, canopy hood with seamless construction #304 commercial 18 gauge satin finish stainless steel adjustable flue chase.
Features electronic controls with a digital LED readout and timer, 7 inch round exhaust, twin centrifugal squirrel cage fans with plastic damper, easy to clean oil catchment, two 20 watt halogen lights, electronic controls, and a timer.
The two speed control has a low setting (400 cfm at 1.3 sone) and high setting (600 cfm at 2.8 sone).
Cleaning of the centrifugal squirrel cage fans is as easy as setting on low speed and spraying degreaser up into blower, allowing the degreased material to flow back down into the catchment cups and then rinsing them out.

RECIRCULATING KIT for Kobe CX183-8 in now available for $255 When you can not run a vent pipe outside, Kobe now offers a $255 recirculation kit for the CX183-8 glass canopy hoods. Kit features slotted vent stack for directing exhaust out the side, near ceiling and a set of replaceable charcoal filters to help remove odor. The hood itself is the exact same unit, but recirc kit reduces vent capacity to 280cfm and 420cfm on speeds one and two. Extended distance (overall height) is the same, but it reduces the minimum by two inches. Vent slots are cut in sides of duct cover about four inches from ceiling for the recirculated air to escape. Carbon filters are included for strapping above existing hood filter screen. We are waiting for better images before posting item on website, but do have them in stock, so email with size for a personal payment link. Questions? Warranty and Shipment of Kobe Range Hoods
You will find a copy of the Kobe Range Hood TWO YEAR manufacturer warranty, return policy, service and shipping information at this page: Kobe Range Hood warranty. As a manufacturer, they have always been exceptionally professional, keeping parts in stock and reacting quickly to customer needs. Kobe range hoods typically ship within two business days. If a model is out of stock, notice is posted in bold red text near shopping cart button for that unit. After your new hood is in transit, we automatically email tracking number with estimated delivery date and contact information for the trucking company so you can anticipate arrival. As with any shipment from any distributor, please be certain to carefully examine all of the merchandise (not just the outside of shipping box) before signing and accepting any insured delivery. If a unit is damaged and unacceptable, simply refuse shipment of that particular box and the freight carrier will foot the cost to return and replace. Signing the freight bill of lading is your personal confirmation that the shipment arrived without any physical damage. UPS (unlike a motor freight carrier) will allow us to file a hidden damage claim, if done so within a week. Damage in transit to a Kobe is rare (they pack well), but always inspect everything before signing for anything. We have always managed to resolve timely hidden damage claims in the client's favor, but the insurance process requires patience with inspections, repackaging, and paperwork. Inspect first, refusing shipment of damaged merchandise and the replacement process is much more efficient and speedy for you. Here's our full Terms of Service Agreement.
