Kobe RA02 (models RA0230SQB RA0236SQB RA0242SQB RA0248SQB) stand alone, 30, 36, 42, & 48 inch wide commercial duty wall chimney style mount hood in seamless construction #430 commercial 18 gauge satin finish stainless steel, powerful twin squirrel cage fan, and commercial duty BAFFLE filters.
The 18 inch tall Kobe RA02 hood features a top transition rectangular to 8 inch round vent, two 20 watt halogen lights (three on larger models), and multi-function LCD touch control with Integrated sensor control (ISC) that automatically turns hood on in excess heat or gas.
Please note that a 20 watt halogen light puts out 320 lumens, which is equal to a 35 watt incandescent light bulb.
Twin squirrel cage fan blower with four speed control has a quiet mode (400 cfm at 1.4 sone), low (600 cfm at 3.5 sone), medium (800 cfm at 7.0 sone), and high setting (1000 cfm at 8.0 sone).

RA02DC-24 twenty four 24 inch duct extension for 9 or 10 foot ceilings when hood is 30 inch off range top - range 36 inch tall.
For odd size ceilings, your hood can be closer or farther away than 30 inch.
Another approach is to cut a hole through ceiling drywall and just extend the duct.
The duct covers on this model RA-02 Kobe are not adjustable.

Kobe range hoods are kept in stock and typically ship the next business day.
If a hood model is Out of Stock, notice is posted in bold red text above shopping cart button for that particular unit.
After your new hood is in transit, we automatically email tracking information with estimated delivery date and contact information for the trucking company.
We have always enjoyed working with Kobe and trust you too will find their customer service very helpful, should you ever need it.
And if history is any judge, you may well never need any parts or service.
Kobe engineering and construction has proven extremely reliable over the years.

One of the high points of their warranty - and quite unique amongst hood manufacturers - is they provide on-site service calls as part of their warranty.
If need be, they will do their best to sub-contract one of your local independent appliance repair centers for a service call.
Shipping the entire unit back for repair is the last option for Kobe, not the first and only option found with most other hood manufacturers.
