Geotextile fabric for French drains, sewage pits & leach fields
Never install plastic 'visquene' sheeting or cheap non-woven 'weed barrier' landscaping fabric in place of professional grade heavy-duty woven geotextile fabric for septic system leach fields, drywell pits, French drains, or soil stabilization in foundation drainage projects. Besides longevity, the problem with using visquene plastic sheeting or cheap weed barrier non-woven materials, is they suffocate the soil, ultimately causing anaerobic soil conditions, biomat formation, root rot, and molding issues. Plastic sheeting becomes brittle and tears within a few years and the adhesive bond holding non-woven weed-barrier fabric together eventually decomposes, slipping, ripping and tearing, and allowing sand and soil to migrate into the gravel drainage layer of leach field or French drain. Invest in our professional grade woven geotextile fabric with a full 35 mil thickness and extra heavy-duty five ounce per square yard weight. Built for a lifetime of service, this is one of the only 'hydrophilic treated' materials on the market, with needle punched, multi-layer woven polypropylene design technology that lets air, water, and nutrients through, but keeps the soil out. Hydrophilic fabrics are critical in septic and greywater leach fields where oxygen penetrating into the soil is vital for long-term performance and protection against soil percolation failure.

Infiltrator® septic tank kits in Colorado
Save money by renting a backhoe and installing your own septic system! Plastic septic tanks never rust or crack and are easily moved around by two people and a backhoe, not a crane or huge trackhoe. UPC listed for permit approval ease and dry burial up to four feet deep. We are here to help our clients every step of the way, doing our best to ensure you don't make that one critical mistake, like not using risers or not venting your leach field.

Infiltrator® chamber leach fields in Colorado
Perforated pipe in a gravel bed is NOT the best choice fo a long-lasting, durable septic system. Infiltrator® chamber leach field systems are far superior to pipe-in-gravel in every aspect: smaller leach field size, optimal percolation, increased retention capacity for heavy loading, root infiltration protection, resistance to traffic, and more. Infiltrator leach field chambers are high-density polyethylene arches that interlock to form a continuous drainage area with a much greater storage 'surge' volume than pipe-in-gravel leach fields. Chamber fields are commonly given a 30% footprint reduction over the size required for a pipe in gravel leach field.

Flow director splitter valve tee
Four inch flow director splitter valve complete with adjustment handle, riser, coupler, and four inch threaded access cap. Special staggered hub ‘versa-tee’ fitting accommodates PVC or ABS 4 inch diameter pipe in either SDR35 or the thicker walled Sch40. Distribution boxes, manifolds, and simple tee fittings are never accurate. Flow diverter splits exactly 50/50 between two outlet lines OR alternate 100% to one side or the other. One half of your leach field can go fallow seasonally to revitalize soil, prevent overloading and reducing bio-mat growth.
Drywells make excellent leaching pits for gutter storm water drainage, driveway drainage, and septic, greywater, or composting toilet leach field systems. These amazingly strong kits can be buried as deep as you need to dispose of rainwater, drainage, or effluent. Gravel backfill around and under the drywell is not necessary, but will certainly increase the capacity of your leaching pit. A single drywell with at least one foot of gravel under and around it (absolute bare minimum) will dispose of 200+ gallons per day in most soils, but you cannot have too large of a leaching pit. The more gravel under and around the drywell, the better for longevity.
Flood alarm battery powered moisture sensor
High water level alert moisture sensors are an integral part of many sustainable design systems. Sump pumps, cisterns, septic tanks, greasetraps, water storage tubes, and greywater filters alike benefit from an early warning overfill alarm. Washing machines, water heaters, pressure tanks and other household plumbing will eventually leak.
Sun-Mar waterless composting toilets
Sun-Mar® Excel was the first self-contained composting toilet to be tested and certified by the NSF. Excel's three-chamber 'bio-drum' is the most dependable, easiest to maintain, and largest composter available. The only self-contained model sized to conveniently handle full-time residential usage. Composter sits directly on restroom floor, so installation simply involves cutting a hole in the roof for the vent, gluing a few pieces of vent pipe together, and connecting the emergency overflow hose. This time-tested, high capacity composting toilet has a very convenient tray for removing finished compost. Other brands are difficult, at best, to operate and have way too many moving parts for long-term reliability.
Servel RGE400 gas refrigerator parts
We no longer retail Servel® RGE400 propane powered refrigerators, but we do stock stock a couple of parts. High altitude orifice recommended for installations over 8000 feet elevation. Website page provides very detailed installation, operation, and trouble-shooting information for any gas refrigerator brand.
